The home of Environmental Retail Management is the
European Retail Academy and its headquarter EHI Retail Institute . Further partners will be welcome.
EHI roots go back to the 1951 founded German Institute of Rationalization (RGH) and the 1957 founded Institute for Self-Service (ISB). Especially ISB developed in the 60ies and 70ies of the last century a lot of standards to enable low-cost distribution. In the 80ies and 90ies it became one of the main drivers for environmental answers in the total supply chain.
